Apply for a postal vote

The November 2024 Local Government By-Elections will be held on Saturday, 23 November 2024.

You are eligible to apply for a postal vote if you will be unable to attend a polling place on election day during voting hours (8am – 6pm).

If you are a registered general postal voter you do not need to apply.

If you are a non-residential elector you may apply after 15 October 2024.

Postal vote packs will be sent to approved applicants and registered general postal voters from 28 October 2024.

The NSW Electoral Commission will use the information you provide in this form to determine if you are eligible to vote by post. We may also contact you about this application, your eligibility to vote by post or other voting options at future elections, information or reminders about elections, or to invite you to provide feedback about your interactions with us.
